Decadent pastries to savor! love this patisserie that serves plenty of dutch treats. Tried the tompouce and wasn’t disappointed! Tiny shop so take away only- but plenty of cafes around. go get yourself a coffee, sit by the canal and enjoy the view and the delicious desserts.

I took the raspberry tart (for four people) and it was very good, but you can’t eat too much of it or it’ll be too sweet. The shop had a really nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. A bit on the more expensive side, but I’m very satisfied with what I got.

Patisserie-“a shop where pastries and cakes are sold. "the patisserie also specializes in cheesecakes and tortes"”. This shop is the classic definition of patisserie. They also have a large variety of cookies. I’ve read all the other comments and decided to add my opinion. 1. you DONT have to stand and wait at least an hour in line like touristy social media spots. 2. The price is fair for Amsterdam, remember this is a specialty shop and not AH. 3. If you’re not sure what to order, ask for a recommendation. I assure you that they will guide you on the best decision for the day. 4. The staff was very helpful and kind. This is the Netherlands and if you haven’t really experienced service anywhere else in the city, you’d be mistaken to think that their service is not exceptional. 5. Quality and taste. I enjoyed the champagne cake. So if your in the vicinity stop by and try, at least you won’t be waiting and hour in the rain with the instagram crowd for a less quality product.

We tried 3 slices of their cakes. They tasted fine, but had a mass manufactured quality to them, not at all like something you’d expect from an artisanal patisserie. None of the other items in the shop took our fancy as they all looked pre-packaged and not all that fresh. The shop itself is beautiful and the staff friendly, but the space is small so can get very cramped with customers.

Came here because of the positive reviews and am very pleased with the experience. Super helpful clerks, beautiful display, and delicious pastries. No complaints at all. I got an apple pie slice, a citrus meringue pie slice, and a meringue, plus a tiny strawberry truffle with a heart on it. All fantastic.

Their quality is definitely top but the taste of their products could be better. We had 3 choices of pies. The one with hazelnuts was the best. Yellow mousse and the one with the raspberry could be better, at least for this price.

This patisserie is located in the heart center of Amsterdam. A good patisserie where you can find lots of options to have as takeaway and gifts. Their cakes are a bit toooo sweet, and I have read recently that they have so many E additives. And maybe that’s giving the sweetness. A bit pricy but everything here is expensive in the city. Service is fair, not the greatest but still helpful.
